As a frequent mover of apartments, it is hard to have a gigantic CRT to drag around with me or afford a large expensive flat screen. This tv was a great price and it's so light and easily portable that I carried it home from my office with no problem. It's a great size and has a fantastic picture and sound. I am also a designer so the fact that it's elegantly proportioned and comes in a color I adore makes it just that much more attractive to me.
