Bought this unit to use as a monitor about 90% of the time and a tv about 10% of the time. Works very nicely as a monitor once you set it to it's native resolution of 1690 x 1050. Other resolutions look sorta whacked but this one is crystal clear. You can set up the controls like brightness-contrast-etc. for your pc input separately from the TV controls so that's nice. Plenty options and controls to get it how you like it. Flipping from monitor to tv is simply hitting a button on the remote or the side of the unit. I have mine hooked to rabbit ears and that works pretty good picking up the local HD broadcasts. This set is 16:10, not 16:9 so unless you stretch it, the screen will have a small black bar top and bottom of the screen. I choose the wide-fit option to fill the entire screen and can hardly tell it's not 16:9. The sound leaves a lot to be desired so I plugged the headphone jack to some powered computer speakers with a sub and that worked nicely. So other than the sound, it's a nice little combo. It's cost me a lot more money though as the picture was so much nicer than my normal big screen non-HD tv it drove me to upgrade that too! :-)Get more detail about Samsung Touch Of Color T220HD 22-inch LCD HDTV Monitor.
